The Glen closely follows the Center for Disease Control (CDC) travel guidance for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals and the CDC’s Travel Tips for Families with Unvaccinated Children. All children at The Glen are considered to be unvaccinated.
All international travel (vaccinated or unvaccinated) requires the traveler to quarantine for 10 days before returning to The Glen OR provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken 5 days after travel and quarantine for a full 7 days.
Regarding Domestic travel (within the continental US):
— Vaccinated individuals may return to school/camp/work at The Glen upon their return home.
— Unvaccinated individuals may need to quarantine. The Glen COVID-19 Committee has simplified the CDC’s recommendations for unvaccinated people and traveling with children. See below to determine if your unvaccinated Glen student must quarantine if he/she travels within the continental United States. Quarantine is defined as staying home for 10 days after returning from travel with no symptoms or 7 days with no symptoms and proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken on day 5 or later.
When determining your family’s travel plans for the fall/winter of 2021, please keep in mind that The Glen is unable to accommodate virtual instruction due to travel and the need to quarantine.
