39 Years of Growing Together–and Looking Forward

Founded in 1986 by six mothers who believed deeply in Montessori education, The Glen has grown from 15 children in a church basement to more than 240 students, from toddlers through middle school, on a campus that continues to expand and inspire.

🌿 Excellence Recognized
The Glen is now an American Montessori Society Pathway Verified School — an important step toward full accreditation, a distinction earned by fewer than 20% of Montessori programs nationwide.

🌿 Montessori for Every Stage
We adopted the region’s only Montessori Middle School, licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, ensuring a true Montessori continuum from toddlerhood through adolescence.

🌿 Parent & Professional Education
The Glen welcomed nationally recognized expert Cindy Goldrich for a two-day program on executive function, drawing more than 150 educators and parents from across our area.

🌿 Commitment to Growth
From Art, Music, PE, and Spanish to the introduction of our new Theater class, we continue to nurture the whole child each week — serving students from 15 months through 14 years.

🌿 Looking Ahead
With the addition of a new property behind campus, we are planning for expanded outdoor learning, a permanent Middle School home, and space for future growth.
