Our Admissions process allows you, as the parent, to become better acquainted with our mission, values, and practices. Likewise, it provides us with the opportunity to learn about your expectations and goals for your child’s education.

The Glen Montessori School has a policy of non-discrimination regarding race, color, gender, religion, national and/or ethnic origin in admissions of students and the employment of faculty and staff.

The Glen Montessori School considers the records of all individual students to be confidential information available to a child’s parents or guardians upon request. Records will be released to other schools or agencies only upon signed request from a parent or guardian.

Admissions Process

To enroll at The Glen, first complete an application by clicking “Apply Now.” Create an account in FinalSite to save, track, and view your Admissions checklist.

A $75 fee is required to confirm an application. Please make checks payable to The Glen Montessori School and note your child’s name in the memo line. Checks can be sent via US Mail to 950 Perry Highway, or dropped at the front office during operating hours.

We accept and consider applications on a rolling basis. If there is a waitlist for the program, we consider applications in the order that each fee is received.

Touring the school is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the wonders of a Montessori classroom, and ask questions about our programs.

If applicable, please request or produce any past (or current) academic records. There is an online recommendation form to email a current teacher or caregiver. These documents help us understand your child’s educational journey so far, and provide insight into their learning.

Upon receipt of your application documents, the Admissions Office will schedule a brief in-person visit for your child to a classroom. Children will be briefly assessed in academic competency, independence, concentration, language skills, and overall readiness for the program.

For applications submitted for an upcoming term in Children’s House or Elementary, student interviews occur from February to July before the start of school in late August.

Note: Birth-to-Three families will be asked to participate in a group visit (or video call) instead of a student interview.

Families will be notified of their status shortly after an interview or visit. If accepted, the family will receive a contract to review and documentation to complete to finalize enrollment.
