Elementary Family Shares Their Home Country of Turkey

Recently, the parents of Vera (1st) and Neva (CH) – visited  Elementary Room 201 to teach us all about their beautiful home country of Turkey. They taught us about Turkish food, holidays, history, geography and even schools. They brought beautiful artifacts and examples of Turkish art, as well as a Turkish musical instrument that we could listen to. Finally, they performed a traditional Turkish story with a humorous moral that we all enjoyed. They even donated a variety of Turkish snacks which we were able to enjoy all week! We all enjoyed the presentation, and we thank Zeynep and Hilmi for sharing their knowledge and their time with us.
