The Glen Montessori Bell Choir
With special thanks to an Anonymous donor, The Glen was able to purchase tonal chimes for Glen students to use as a part of our music educational curriculum. After working together as a part of our after-school club, this group of nine students established The Glen Montessori Bell Choir – learning to read music and play these percussion instruments.

Playing the bells might seem easy, but working with nine other people requires concentration, patience, and timing – essential executive functioning skills emphasized and practiced in Montessori classrooms. Building these soft skills not only builds musical aptitude but also allows students to work collaboratively in a group setting.
Due to the enthusiasm and dedication, The Glen Bell Choir will continue as an after-school club in Spring 2024 and expects to perform at Generations Day this year!
