Scholarship Donor Spotlight
Bobby Rahal Automotive has generously supported Glen students, enabling many families to provide a Montessori education for their child/children each year. Making their gift through the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program (OSTC) has provided this company with the best of both worlds – a generous contribution that significantly impacts children’s lives while benefiting from Pennsylvania tax credits.

Our children attended and have benefitted from an experience that fosters a love of learning, creativity, and an individualized approach that allows each child to progress at their rate,” says Sunil Lahoti, a past parent of The Glen and Vice President of the Bobby Rahal Automotive Group. “At Bobby Rahal, we hope to help many children have this valuable educational foundation – an experience that fosters the value and contribution of each child and the future of our communities.”
The Glen Montessori School is deeply committed to making our school a diverse community accessible to children from all walks of life—social, economic, and racial. A critical aspect of maintaining a diverse community is financial, including individuals who want a private school education but may not fully afford it.
This OSTC state program, along with the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Pre-Kindergarten EITC (ages 3-6), aims to enhance educational opportunities for students from low—and moderate-income families by offering tax credits to businesses that contribute to scholarship organizations.
Businesses can receive tax credits of up to 90% of their contribution to approved scholarship organizations, with a maximum credit of $750,000 per taxable year. These contributions directly fund scholarships for students at The Glen, allowing them to access quality education in non-public schools that best meet their needs.
