Video Surveillance System RFB Overview
The Glen Montessori School seeks sealed bids from qualified security technology providers to furnish, install, configure, test, commission, train staff on, and support an expanded video surveillance system at its campus at 950 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
This school security camera installation project will enhance campus safety through comprehensive interior and exterior video surveillance coverage. The selected vendor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, software, programming, training, and support necessary to deliver a fully operational system.
The proposed solution may integrate with, expand upon, or replace the School’s existing video surveillance infrastructure, depending on the vendor’s recommendations and the School’s operational needs. Bidders should clearly explain how their proposed system will improve security, reliability, scalability, and long-term support.
This project is funded through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) Targeted School Safety Grant Program. All work must comply with applicable grant requirements and be substantially completed by Spring 2027.

Late submissions will not be considered.
Each proposal must include:
– One (1) original signed bid.
– One (1) electronic PDF copy emailed to [email address].
– All documentation requested in this Request for Bid.
– A signature from an individual authorized to bind the company contractually.
Bids shall remain valid for ninety (90) calendar days following the submission deadline.
All costs associated with proposal preparation and submission shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder.

Alternate site visits will be approved solely at the discretion of The Glen Montessori School and must be completed before the deadline established by the School.
The site visit provides vendors an opportunity to:
– Review existing video surveillance infrastructure.
– Inspect campus conditions.
– Evaluate installation requirements.
– Identify network, power, and mounting needs.
– Ask project-specific questions prior to submitting a proposal.
